“Maybe not everybody knows about it, but NATO will enter the operation in Syria operated by a coalition led by the United States. Poland politically supports this coalition and we do not expect to involve ourselves in this conflict,” Siemoniak said during a press conference on Tuesday.

The Minister was asked whether NATO allies will insist that Poland commits to entering the conflict in Syria, for example, by participating in air raids.

Siemoniak said that he expects the issue to be raised during a summit between NATO defence ministers on Thursday in Brussels. (rg/rk)
