“The Polish government will do everything in its power to ensure building the Polish community all over the world,” PM Szydło said.

The PM spoke about changes in the Polish Charter bill.

Szydło promised more rights for those who hold a Polish Card (Karta Polaka), including easier relocation to Poland, obtaining a residency permit, and less bureaucracy in the citizenship-granting process.

The Polish Card can be obtained by Poles living abroad in countries which do not allow dual citizenship. These are usually second and third generation Poles.

The meeting on Tuesday took place in the Sejm, lower chamber of Polish parliament. (tf/rg)
