Poland is also the partner country at this year's SIAL fair, which runs until 7 May. The country’s products are being presented both at the national stand, with an area of 248 m2, and stands in the trade-fair section, the Polish Agriculture Ministry said.

The opening ceremony of the fair in Beijing was attended by Poland's Agriculture Minister Krzysztof Jurgiel, who encouraged the 60,000 attendees of the fair to visit the Polish stand.

“Poland specialises in the production of high quality meat products, dairy products, and is also a leader in Europe in the production of fruit and vegetables,” Jurgiel said.

He added that with the help of Polish ingredients, anyone can be successfully prepare their favorite Chinese dishes based on vegetables and meat. (rg/pk)
