Poles prefer Clinton to Trump: survey

Forty-four percent of Poles believe that a victory by Democrat Hillary Clinton in the US presidential elections would be better for Poland, according to a new survey.

Only six percent said that Republican nominee Donald Trump would be better for Poland as president, the study by pollster TNS Polska found.

Meanwhile, 28 percent said the choice of president would make no difference to Poland and 22 percent said they did not have an opinion on the subject.

The telephone survey for Polish Radio 24 was carried out on 26-27 September, with a representative sample of 1,000 Poles aged 18 and above asked about their views.
