On the first day of the trip, he met the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“India is one of the most dynamically developing countries of the world. Its economy is comparable to that of China… The state of Gujarat is a state that is larger than Poland, and when it comes to the economy, this is a powerful institution,” Gliński said following a meeting with Chief Minister of the Gujarat region, Vijay Rupani.

They discussed trade agreements between the Indian state and the Mazowieckie and Podkarpackie provinces in Poland, among other issues.

Glinski will also head the Polish delegation to the conference "Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2017", which is one of the elements of the economic promotion of the country. (rg)
