The detentions were part of a wider probe into a 50-member gang which is suspected to have smuggled at least 100 kilograms of amphetamines into Poland, the PAP news agency reported.
The four suspects were detained in the Netherlands, according to Poland’s Central Bureau of Police Investigation (CBŚP).
“Thanks to close cooperation between officers in the two countries and European arrest warrants issued by the prosecutor's office, these people face extradition to Poland,” said CBŚP spokeswoman Agnieszka Hamelusz.
