Duda on Tuesday opened a Polish Trade and Investment Agency (PAIH) office in Mexico City.

Duda said Mexico is an important partner in Poland’s plan to build “a world built on cooperation and security”.

Poland also wants to deepen mutual investment cooperation with Mexico, Duda said, adding that Mexican investors' presence in Poland results from the country's support for entrepreneurship and investment "which has made Poland an undisputed leader in Central and Eastern Europe in terms of inflows of foreign direct investment."

This was the first ever visit of a Polish president to Mexico. In 2018, Poland and Mexico will celebrate the 90th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. (vb/pk)
