The meeting, which will be presided over by Federica Mogherini, the EU’s foreign policy chief, will concern “long-term priorities” and plans to beef up the European Defence Agency (EDA), the Polish defence ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.
Other topics to be discussed include progress in the implementation of the European Union’s Global Strategy on Foreign and Security Policy (EUGS) and cooperation as part of the bloc’s Permanent Structured Cooperation mechanism (PESCO).
The ministers are also expected to discuss issues related to cooperation with NATO, including ways of counteracting terrorist threats, the Polish defence ministry said. (str/pk)
