Duda said after the meeting that Poland and Finland have "many ties and many interests” in common.
Duda said the topics of Tuesday's talks included the "great relocation of Russian troops" linked to the recent Zapad-17 military manoeuvres in Belarus, tensions in Ukraine and the prospects of peace on territory occupied by Russia.
"We talked about the policy of sanctions against Russia, but also about the policy of dialogue with Russia," he added.
"In this regard, I can say that our views on this, our positions, are very close," Duda also said.
In late September, Poland and Finland signed a deal to work together in countering hybrid and cyber threats.
The framework agreement, which was inked by Poland’s Defence Minister Antoni Macierewicz and his Finnish counterpart Jussi Niinistö, also provides for the exchange of information and technological cooperation.
