The meeting of the two presidents was not previously scheduled, the public broadcaster reported, citing Duda’s chief of staff, Krzysztof Szczerski.
Duda and Trump were among heads of state and government who gathered for a two-day NATO summit that began in the Belgian capital on Wednesday.
Szczerski told Polish Radio that he and US national security adviser John Bolton joined the two presidents during the talks, which he said focused on details of Polish-US military cooperation and plans for possible top-level meetings.
Poland’s foreign minister told Polish Radio in mid-June that arrangements were being made for Duda to meet Trump during a visit to America later this year.
