The crews set off for Sweden in the early hours of Saturday from the Baltic coastal town of Świnoujście in north-western Poland, the PAP news agency reported.
The Poles expect to work in Sweden for two weeks, according to PAP.
Poland, France, Italy, Lithuania, Germany and Denmark have offered to help Sweden after wildfires swept across that country after an extended period of heat and drought, according to state broadcaster Polish Radio.
