Polish president to attend George H.W. Bush’s funeral

Polish President Andrzej Duda is scheduled to attend the funeral of George H.W. Bush in Washington, Poland's PAP news agency has reported.

The Polish head of state was on Tuesday expected to leave for the United States to join other international leaders during the funeral ceremonies.
US President Donald Trump has declared Wednesday, December 5, a national day of mourning in America in Bush's honour.
George H.W. Bush was US president from 1989 to 1993. He also served as vice-president in Ronald Reagan's administration from 1981 to 1989.
He died late on Friday, November 30, aged 94.
