Film icon Claudia Cardinale guest of PKO Off Camera Festival

Celebrated actress Claudia Cardinale has been announced as one of the guests of Kraków's forthcoming PKO Off Camera Festival.

Cardinale starred in some of the most acclaimed films of the 1960s, including Luchino Visconti's 'The Leopard', Federico Fellini's '8½' and Sergio Leone's 'Once Upon a Time in the West'.
The 8th edition of the festival begins on 1 May, with the main 'Making Way' competition pitting ten movies against each other for the Kraków Film Prize of USD 100,000.
Only debut or second features are in the running, with this year's selection including one Polish movie alongside works from countries as varied as Guatemala, the UK and Spain.
Meanwhile, a competition showcasing the cream of recent Polish cinema is also in line.
The 8th PKO Off Camera Festival runs until 10 May. (nh)
