Warsaw to host 25th International Poster Biennale

Preparations for the International Poster Biennale, which will be held in Warsaw between 11 June and 25 September, have reached the final stages.

As in previous years, this year’s Biennale will be accompanied by a world-famous poster competition, entitled “The Poster Remediated”.
Judges have already selected the ten works that will be shown at the exhibition, and announced that Poland’s Mateusz Kokot and Tomasz Sroka will share the top prize.
Past winners include a number of the most prestigious names in the industry, such as Andy Warhol and Tadanori Yokoo, as well as Polish masters of poster art such as Roman Cieślewicz, Jan Lenica and Henryk Tomaszewski. (tf/rg)
