Over 200 artists from around the world and Poland will perform on a multi-level stage, specifically designed for the event.

The list of acts includes such well-known Polish musicians as Zygmunt Staszczyk, Zbigniew Wodecki and conductor Piotr Rubik.

The event will also see the artists sing the theme song of this year’s World Youth Day, "Błogosławieni Miłosierni" ("Blessed are the Merciful").

The concert starts at 7:30pm at Warsaw’s Piłsudski Square.

The Polish capital is hosting thousands of young people from all over the world during "Days in the Dioceses", a set of events organized by local parishes in the week preceding World Youth Day.

The religious gathering dedicated to young people from all over the globe starts in the Polish city of Kraków on Monday. (ał/pk)
