The goal of the pavilion is to portray Poland as a dynamic, innovative country, and an enticing tourist destination.

Housed in four tents, the interactive display features a film of the country’s history in 3D, a virtual tour around the artworks of Poland’s mediaeval era, alongside an array of other attractions.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to see state-of-the-art Polish-made Proteus robots, as well as Mars rovers, designed by Polish boffins, and numerous smartphone and tablet apps for everyday use.

One of the pavilion’s tents will also include a carrot patch and an apple orchard, to boast Poland’s high-quality food exported to the EU.

The pavilion was co-organised by the education, agriculture and development ministries, alongside the Polish Tourist Organisation and the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency (PAIiIZ), among many other institutions.

The Polish Pavilion is open until 31 July. (aba/pk)
