Contest aims to find ‘new 7 wonders of Poland’

Readers have until Thursday to vote for sites they want to appear on a list of the “New 7 Wonders of Poland”.

The National Geographic Traveler monthly in Poland is holding the competition for the seventh time.
In total, 32 sites, two from each Polish province, are battling to be named among the winners.
“This year we have nominated architectural monuments, culinary trails and also factories that have undergone revitalisation and now serve residents,” said Michał Cessanis of National Geographic Traveler.
The sites which find themselves on the list of winners are likely to enjoy a boost in tourism.
Votes can be cast on the 7cudów.national-geographic.pl website, which will announce the winners on 1 September.
