A survey called the Study.EU ranking reported that Brexit is likely to accelerate Poland’s success in drawing international students as they seek alternatives to studying in Britain.

The number of foreign students in Poland has grown from 12,000 to 65,000 in the past ten years, while the number of study programmes in English has doubled since 2014, the report said.

Germany came top in the ranking, followed by Britain and France.

Thirty European countries were ranked based on scores in three categories titled education, cost, and life and career.

The report said Germany’s offer of “world-class universities remains hard to outrank. But the United Kingdom caught up in points, only held back by its prohibitively high cost of living and tuition fees.”

Study.EU is a Hamburg-based company that provides information on academic courses.
