Mozart Festival starting in Warsaw

A Mozart Festival opens in Warsaw on Saturday, with dozens of performances including concerts and operas in store for music lovers.

The event starts with a gala at Polish Radio’s Lutosławski concert studio in Warsaw at 7pm. The star of the evening will be outstanding Argentinian soprano Veronica Cangemi.
The festival runs until July 14 and will include performances of the operas The Marriage of Figaro, Cosi Fan Tutte and The Magic Flute. There will also be shows for children.
The festival is being held under the auspices of public broadcaster Polish Radio.
