Singapore prime minister in Warsaw for trade talks

Prime Minister Donald Tusk greeted his Singapore counterpart Lee Hsien Loong in Warsaw, Thursday, at the start of a visit where the Asian leader is seeking Poland’s support for early ratification of the EU-Singapore Free Trade Agreement.

On his first ever trip to Poland, PM Lee will also sign an agreement on cooperation between the Polish National Research and Development Centre and the Singapore Agency for Science, Technology and Research.

Before arriving in Warsaw, the Singapore prime minister was in France, where he met with President Francois Hollande among others. (pg)
