The Theomachy game was authored by Jakub Wasilewski, Adam Kwapiński and Tomasz Bylina.

The trio releases games under the Historical Games Factory, “a Polish game publisher founded by the [team] who are also fans of board, card, and battle games,” according to the Kickstarter website.

The game received the backing of almost a 1,000 individuals, at an average USD 127.6 each.

At the time of writing, the game had already been sent to a few players who reviewed it favourably.

This is not the first Polish game to be a success on Kickstarter. Last year, The Galaxy of Trian managed to gather USD 130,000 in support.

Kickstarter was founded in 2009, and has already managed to raise some USD 1.5 billion in pledges for projects ranging from technology, to food products to industrial design. (rg)
