Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates has regained his rightful place as the world’s richest individual with a net worth of USD 79.2 billion. “His fortune grew USD 3.2 billion since last year to USD 79.2 billion, despite a gift of USD 1.5 billion in Microsoft shares to The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in November 2014,” US-based Forbes magazine wrote.

The richest Pole, Jan Kulczyk is worth USD 4 billion, and made his fortune with investments in the telecoms and oil industries. The 64-year-old is 418th on the global list.
