On Wednesday, Minister Piechociński attended the Polish-Algerian Business Forum at the Hotel El Aurassi, in the country’s capital Algiers.

“In 2014, trade in goods between Poland and Algeria nearly doubled and exceeded USD 736 million,” Piechociński told a gathered audience.

“With such an impressive performance Algeria became [Poland’s] third largest trading partner among Arab countries, and also the second in Africa.”

The positive trade in goods was made possible by the activity of Polish and Algerian companies, the Economy Minister said.

“This is a result of harmonious growth of the Polish and Algerian economies.” (rg)
