Core inflation grows below expectations

In March, inflation net of food and energy prices stood at 0.2 percent y/y, slightly below analyst expectations, said the National Bank of Poland.

The figure was 0.4 percent y/y in February.
Analysts had predicted a y/y increase of 0.4 percent in March.
Core inflation is used by economists as the measure of increasing prices of food and energy. (rg)
