Polish Q2 GDP rises by 3.3% y/y

Poland’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) rose by 3.3 percent year on year in the second quarter of the year, according to the Central Statistical Office (GUS).

“Compared to the GDP flash estimate for the second quarter of 2015, released on 14 August 2015, the GDP estimation reported today is not changed,” GUS said.
“In the 2nd quarter of 2015 seasonally adjusted gross domestic product […] was higher by 0.9 percent than in the previous quarter and 3.6 percent higher than in the 2nd quarter of the previous year,” the statistics office said on Friday. (rg/rk)
