The Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency (PAIiIZ) sent a strong delegation of its officials to the China and Central Eastern Europe Countries Economic Trade Forum.

Polish representatives emphasised difficulties in mutual cooperation, and yet expressed their hope that it will successively be tightened.

“China is now rediscovering our part of Europe that used to be forgotten by this Asian country. This process is not easy. All countries of CEE cannot be put in the same box. We are here to help our Chinese friends understand why the importance of Central Eastern Europe is growing,” said the head of PAIiIZ, Sławomir Majman.

Majman also stressed Poland's leading role among the Central and Eastern Europe countries in contacts with Chinese markets. He pointed out, that Poland needs to consider its future involvement with countries outside of EU. (tf/rg)
