India and Poland natural business partners: Polish deputy PM

Poland and India are sustainable and stable world economies in the current global environment, which makes them natural strategic partners for mutual cooperation and economic growth, Polish Deputy Prime Minister Piotr Gliński has said.

Speaking at the India-Poland Country Session held at the sidelines of Make in India Week in Mumbai, Gliński added that there is a huge potential for India and Poland to enhance their exports and trade in areas such as clean environment technologies, agriculture equipment, food processing, furniture manufacturing, deep mining, defence and the automotive sector.

The deputy prime minister also emphasised encouraging industrial cooperation and joint ventures between India and Poland in the above sectors.

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is the partner of the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion (DIPP) and the Government of Maharashtra in organizing the event being held from 13-18 February.
