On Monday 2 May, Legia Warszawa won the Polish Cup for the second year in a row, defeating Lech Poznań 1-0.

However, the game lasted longer than expected. The referee interrupted the game twice after fans threw flares towards the field, and destroyed seating.

The stadium suffered PLN 100,000 thousand in losses, including 600 fully or partially damaged seats. “This was a result of events that occurred during the final of the Polish Cup between Legia Warszawa and Lech Poznań,” the stadium said. (rg/pk)
