Foreign businesses are increasingly interested in the Polish market, the Rzeczpospolita daily has reported, adding that the number of due diligence reports into Polish firms have doubled in the last year.

According to the daily, potential foreign investors come from the US, UK and, increasingly, from Central and South America, and a lot of their interest is in Polish IT companies.

Rzeczpospolita attributes this to the growing number of original software solutions coming out of Poland.

The paper quotes an analyst as saying: “Our IT specialists are very well educated and appreciated abroad. We also offer a beneficial ratio of quality to labour costs”. (vb/pk)
