GUS also said that during that period, salaries in the sector grew by four percent, to more than PLN 4,300 gross per month.
Head economist at Bank Pocztowy Monika Kurtek said that coming months may see employment growing at a steady rate and the good state of the job market will be conducive of investment.
She added that employment rates may stagnate, especially in construction, where there is a labour shortage, but this may see wages rising. (vb)
