Retail sales up y/y in Poland

Retail sales in Poland rose 7.3 percent in February year on year but fell 2.7 percent month on month, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on Friday.

Analysts approached by the PAP news agency had expected a 8.7 percent increase compared to February 2016 and a 1.4 percent fall month on month.
In real terms retail sales increased 5.2 percent year on year.
