The Polish producer signed the agreement for 2,694 tractors and 2,506 agricultural machines such as trailers and ploughs with Zambia’s Industrial Development Corporation.

Under the contract, an assembly plant will be built in the capital, Lusaka, along with 10 service points throughout Zambia.

“The project is expected to be completed within a year of the start of its implementation,” Ursus said in a statement sent to Poland’s PAP news agency.
