Unemployment in Poland dropped to a historic low of 8.1 percent in March, the country’s Central Statistical Office said on Wednesday.

Joblessness in February stood at 8.5 percent.
The number of unemployed registered in labour offices fell to 1,324,200 from 1,383,400 in February.
Earlier this month, the Polish Labour Ministry estimated that unemployment in March had dropped to 8.2 percent, the lowest level for the month in 26 years.
In this year's budget bill, the government predicted that the unemployment rate would be 8 percent towards the end of the year.
