Unemployment in Poland drops to lowest in 26 years

Unemployment in Poland dropped to 7.7 percent at the end of April, the lowest level in 26 years, the Family, Labour and Social Policy Ministry said on Tuesday.

Joblessness was down by 0.4 percentage point on March and 1.7 percentage points less than in April 2016.
In total, 1.252 million people were registered as unemployed in labour offices, 71,900 fewer than in March this year and 269,500 fewer than a year ago.
