Wages, employment up in Poland’s corporate sector: stats office

Average gross wages in Poland’s corporate sector rose 4.9 percent in July compared to the same month last year, the country’s Central Statistical Office said on Thursday.

The average gross Polish monthly pay packet in July was PLN 4,501 (EUR 1,057, USD 1,236).
Average wages in Poland rose 6 percent in June and 5.4 percent in May year on year.
Meanwhile, average employment in Poland’s corporate sector was 4.5 percent up in July year on year, according to the statistical office, which gave data for companies with more than nine staff.
