Retail sales, industrial production up in Poland

Poland's retail sales rose 7.1 percent in July compared to the same month last year, the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on Friday.

Retail sales in June rose 6 percent year on year and in May climbed 8.4 percent.
Meanwhile, industrial production increased 6.2 percent year on year in July, according to the statistical office.
Industrial production increased 4.5 percent year on year in June and 9.1 percent in May.
