Fitch ups Polish GDP forecast

International rating agency Fitch has revised upwards its forecast for the Polish economy to 4 percent growth this year, up from a July projection of 3.3 percent.

Fitch has left its growth projections for 2018 and 2019 unchanged at 3.2 percent.

The agency reiterated its view that a rise in tensions between Poland and the European Union would probably not have an impact on the Polish economy.

In July Fitch decided to keep Poland's A- rating and stable outlook unchanged.
