Businessmen, academics and politicians from various countries will take part in the three-day European Congress of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises, which is being held for the seventh time.

The event is billed as Europe's largest conference focusing on small and medium-sized enterprises.

This year’s conference is being held under the motto "Unleash Business!" and features panel discussions and workshops probing issues such as innovation in management, taxation, education, and financing available to small and medium-sized enterprises.

Conference participants will also talk about Poland's role in China’s New Silk Road initiative and about how European SMEs can benefit from this project. The event is also expected to discuss business opportunities available in the United States, with a business mixer featuring entrepreneurs and officials from the US state of Nevada.

The conference will also provide opportunities to establish business ties with companies from countries including Ukraine, Belarus, Germany and Belgium, organisers say. (gs/pk)
