Wages, employment up y/y in Poland

The average gross monthly wage in Poland rose 6% year on year in September to PLN 4,473 (EUR 1,058, USD 1,245), the Central Statistical Office has said.

But compared to August the average monthly before-tax wage fell 0.4%.
In August wages rose 6.6% year on year.
Employment increased 4.5% year-on-year in September and rose 0.1% from August, the Central Statistical Office said.
Employment climbed 4.6% year-on-year in August.
Experts said that employers are finding it increasingly difficult to find workers as
both wages and employment rise, even though the rate of growth has slowed.
