"Unemployment, which [European statistics office] Eurostat recently estimated in Poland at 4.6 percent, is not only the lowest in history, but it is... a natural state of unemployment, meaning it will not be much lower," Mateusz Morawiecki told reporters.

Morawiecki, who is also Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Development, added that joblessness could drop another 0.5 percent.

Unemployment in Poland fell to a new low of 6.8 percent in September, the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS), which uses a different methodology to Eurostat, said earlier his week.

In August, unemployment in Poland stood at 7 percent, according to the statistics office.

Family, Labour and Social Policy Elżbieta Rafalska said on Thursday that Poland has an employee’s market.

She warned, however, that such a situation meant challenges that would have to be faced "so that the economy is not limited by a lack of workers on the Polish market.”
