OECD raises GDP growth forecast for Poland

The OECD has raised its 2017 GDP growth projection for Poland to 4.3 percent from 3.6 percent in a June forecast.

The Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development, which brings together 35 developed countries, also raised its 2018 GDP growth forecast for Poland to 3.5 percent from 3.1 percent.

OECD analysts cut their forecast for the general government deficit in Poland this year to 2.1 percent from 2.9 percent.

They also cut their deficit forecast for 2018 to 2.3 percent from 3 percent.
