The Polish manufacturer produces buses, trolleybuses and trams, mostly for buyers abroad. To date it has delivered 15,000 vehicles to 32 countries around the world.

The company’s main products include city, suburban and intercity buses, in addition to innovative hybrid electric buses.

Earlier this year Solaris won a contract to supply 25 electric buses to the Belgian capital Brussels as well as a contract to supply 41 trolleybuses to the Lithuanian capital Vilnius.

The company produces its vehicles in four factories in west-central Poland. It has recently opened a new distribution centre, Solaris Logistics Centre, to improve after-sales customer service.

Solaris employs roughly 2,300 people in Poland and an additional 300 in its foreign branches.
