Spending has been set at PLN 397.2 billion while revenues are expected to reach PLN 355.7 billion, leaving the public finance deficit at 2.7 percent of GDP, less than the 3 percent threshold set by Brussels.

The budget is based on an assumption that the economy will grow 3.8 percent this year.

The bill was backed by 240 deputies, while 189 voted against, and two abstained.
