Poland “ranks among the European and world leaders” in terms of the presence of women in senior business positions, said the report by audit and advisory company Grant Thornton.
The average for the EU was 27%, and the global average was 24%, compared to 34% in Poland, according to the report.
Lithuania and Estonia scored the highest among European countries, both with 36%, while the figure for Italy was 34%, the report said.
The findings were published by Poland’s PAP news agency on International Women's Day.
