Wages rise in Poland

The average gross monthly wage in Poland rose 6.8% year on year in February to PLN 4,599 (EUR 1,090, USD 1,345), the Central Statistical Office said on Friday.

The figures are for companies with more than nine employees.
Meanwhile, the number of people working in such companies in February was 3.7% up on the same month last year, the statistical office said.
