Industrial production in Poland grew 7.4 percent in February compared with the same month last year, the country’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on Monday.

Meanwhile, output in the construction-and-assembly sector shot up by 31.4 percent in February in year-on-year terms, the statistical office said.
The rebound in the construction and assembly sector was helped by a host of new road and railway building projects launched by the government using European Union funds, according to economists.
