"Over 90% of entrepreneurs surveyed tell us that this problem really affects them," Poland’s Entrepreneurship and Technology Minister Jadwiga Emilewicz told reporters on Friday.
Her ministry has drawn up a Green Paper with proposals for solving the problem.
“In Poland, 180-day, 120-day payment deadlines are a commonly used practice," Emilewicz said.
The Green Paper will be made available to businesses on Monday on her ministry’s website, mpit.gov.pl.
Deputy Entrepreneurship and Technology Minister Mariusz Haładyj said: "We want to start consultations not with a bill but with the Green Paper in order to show a certain range of possible solutions that we see, based on talks with entrepreneurs, but also regulations that other European countries have."
