More homes completed in Poland: stats office

Builders in Poland completed 10.6 percent more homes in the first three months of this year than in the same period in 2017, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on Wednesday.

A total of 44,908 housing units were completed nationwide between the start of January and the end of March, the office said.
It added that the number of dwellings under construction also increased in the first quarter of this year compared with the first three months of last year.
According to real estate experts, there is still a shortage of around 3 million housing units in Poland.
