The meeting on Tuesday was the fourth conference held under a programme by the President's Office that supports new and innovative companies.
The latest event was entitled "Start-ups in the Palace - COOPERATION".
President Andrzej Duda said that Poland should make more use of EU funds for research and development.
Executives from large companies at the conference discussed joint projects with start-ups.
Dariusz Dzirba, head of research and development at Poland’s state-run gas firm PGNiG, said that his company had created the InnVento start-up centre.
As part of the project, PGNiG works with several young companies, for example using unmanned aerial systems to monitor gas infrastructure.
