Employment in Polish firms rises

The number of people working in Polish companies in April was 3.7% up on the same month last year, the Central Statistical Office said on Friday.

The figures are for firms with more than nine employees.
In March, the number of people working in businesses with nine or more staff also rose 3.7 percent year on year, according to the statistical office.
Meanwhile, the average gross monthly wage in Poland climbed 7.8 percent year on year to PLN 4,840.44 in April, the office said.
